- This watch is a white hot, elegant alternative to the ceramic look. What a steal. The same look by a very well-known costume jewelry designer is MUCH more expensive.

IWC 371713 wrist watches news:
In 2005, Swiss watch brand Jaeger-LeCoultre joined with British car maker Aston Martin to produce the first AMVOX, ushering in JLC’s line of “vertical trigger” chronograph wristwatches. This year, the luxury brands join forces once more on the AMVOX7, the first model with a radial power-reserve display. The AMVOX7 Chronograph, which commemorates the eighth anniversary of the partnership between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Aston Martin, features a new, more ergonomically designed case and modifications to the crown, lugs and strap that are also meant to ensure optimum wearer comfort.Like the first AMVOX watch and all the others that followed it, the AMVOX7 has as its signature feature a chronograph mechanism that is operated not by side-mounted push-buttons but by simply pressing on the watch’s crystal. Pressing the top of the crystal near 12 0’clock starts and stops the chronograph, while pressing on the lower half of the glass resets it to zero. A trigger located

Just a brief update with pics to follow. Last Tuesday met with Adam78 from Chicago. Now I thought I had a great early Rolex (1930s) collection and indeed I do, but trust me Adam78 Are GREATER. Full of wonderful Bubblebacks. Great guy, lots of knowledge and a lovely person. I have loads of pictures (which Adam took). That I will post soon. But believe me this guy has the greats I'm Rolexs AND Hamiltons. Be patient. To day was with Noel from National Watch and Clock Museum in PA. They are running a special exhibition on Grand Complications. You guys MUST come take a look if only to see a letter written by Breguet to a customer. Wonderful stuff, really. Then we went over to see Roland G Murphy of RGM. WOW!! What an experience. Thisan is a 'master'. He demonstrate both a 'rose engine and a straight line engine' 'Guilloche'. He has all the vintage equipment tohand make watches and also repair or service any (really any) watch and if you could see him demonstrating a 'rose eengine' Guillo
First off, hello all, new to the forum and bit with the watch-envy bug.I am in a construction vocation and wondering about a suitable watch. Another thread here questioned what watches you feel are suited to your trade, but I'm going to ask for recommendations specific to mine. I am wanting an automatic Swiss movement divers watch in the $300 - $500 range, pre-owned is fine. I will put a rubber strap on it if it doesn't already have one. My working environment is such that the watch would be subjected to some vibration, water and heat/cold but not really intense abuse. Biggest issue would be some scratching which I can live with (hence the acceptability of buying a used watch). The biggest question in my mind (aside from trying to figure out which watch) is whether or not these types of watches are actually designed for and capable of withstanding everyday working conditions, or if I should just buy a beater quartz. But, I really don't want a beater quartz watch nor do I want to ruin a
