What is your opinion on Longines Ultra-Chron watches?

I own a Rolex sub and the 40mm case size is perfect. I find the omega speedmaster dial beautiful. I was ready to purchase a 3510.50 until I read some negative reviews and found out the case is a 38mm. Which omega speedmaster model is the larger case size around 40mm that isn't the more expensive moon model. I wanted a daily watch to wear around the $1,500 range.
