Baselworld 2015: The Perrelet Turbine Skeleton
Perrelet’s most recognizable family is the Turbine collection. These watches, featuring an oscillating turbine seen through cut-outs in the dial, have become the company’s signature, and now represent the majority of Perrelet’s watches on the market. Since the design relies on an idea of openwork, letting you see into the dial, it’s always felt just a little bit like a skeletonized watch. Hi All, I've recently left Rolex for which I had a Deepsea, then a Sub Hulk 2013 which I have now traded against a UB012721 Rose Gold Navitimer 46mm on Croc brown strap New! Straight swap!I couldn't resist the Navi, it's always had a draw on me since my friend got one, it's a absolute beaut!Have I made a wise decision?

Really like the Speedmaster, but what about water resistance?
Hi all,I have really taken a liking to the Omega's even though I am a Rolex kind of guy. The Omega Speedmaster really is a nice piece as far as looks (though I have never actually tried one on). I am looking into getting one, but I often spend time in the water (or with my hand in my coral reef aquarium).My question is this: I have read that the Speedmaster has a depth rating of 30m/100ft, is that rating meant for me to actually swim with it? (I have checked out the chart in the sticky) What about submersing it for only a few seconds at a time in a saltwater fish tank? I can't be bothered with taking my watch on and off every time I need to stick my hand in my tank (which is often). I just wanted some insight from those of you who have either used in such an environment, or those of you who have worked on them and understand their real world ratings.Thanks much!Ed

Hello fellow watch lovers,I have just been on the Patek Philippe website to look at the collection, and I noticed a new watch I haven't seen before... I know the 5719/1G-001 is discontinued as of this year. Which is why I was surprised to see a 5719/10G-010 next to it on the website. Do you think its a new piece that has accidentally been uploaded? (the watch also didn't appear in this years catalogue 2016) .patek/en/mens-watches...s/5719-10G-010Any thoughts?

Today I learned that my wonderful fianc¨¦ will be gifting me a watch as a wedding present (I knew she was the one ). So to make a long story short, I know nothing about pams and a minty 321 from reputable seller just caught my eye. Is this a good variant in terms of being A first Pam? Resale value? Anything else I should know about it or any other similar models I should also be considering?Thanks in advance
